Rex Brown, Campbellsville, KY, (1928 - 2016) He was a member of Saloma Baptist Church. In the words of his pastor, Rev. John Chowning, "Rex Brown lived life to the fullest - truly he lived the abundant life in Jesus Christ. In many ways, Rex was the answer to a pastor's prayer in terms of his service to the church - he was always there every time the church doors opened, but he also lived his Christian life beyond the four walls of the church building. He was very active, until the past year, in serving others - he helped take care of our shutins and did the ministry and mission of the church without fanfare or recognition. He just did it as he served others in the name of Jesus Christ. We will miss him, but we celebrate his heavenly reward. Rex fought the good fight truly to the very end - and he is now enjoying his crown of righteousness in heaven with our Lord Jesus Christ."
