Welcome to Adair County, Midwest Conference Cyclists As Judge Executive of Adair County, I would like to congratulate Lindsey Wilson College Cycling Coach Dave Grigsby and the Blue Raiders Cycling Team on their many successes. So many Adair Countians tell me that when they are traveling and tell people they are from Columbia, KY, the response is, "Oh, that's where Lindsey Wilson College and that great cycling team is located." Thanks for the fame you have brought to Adair County. We are proud of you and as county judge, I want to encourage all of our citizens to make sure the visitors get the warmest Adair County welcome. The success of their program last season has attracted a wave of recruits for this season. Last year's Lindsey Wilson College Cycling successes included finishes on the podium at the National Championships in Mountain Biking and Cyclocross. The recruits that Coach Grigsby attracted for 2009-10 season include several national champions and one world champion. This has proven to be an impressive lineup of cyclists, which the residents of Adair County have a chance to see this weekend, March 6th and 7th. Approximately two hundred cyclists along with several hundred spectators will be traveling the roads in Adair County this weekend. I would like to encourage the residents of Adair County to come out and see the cycling team in action for themselves and to show their support. Also I would like to encourage motorist traveling the roads to use extreme caution and to reduce their speed for the cyclists this weekend. As Vice-President, Rowe will represent dairy farmers across Kentucky and assist his colleagues in planning dairy marketing and educational efforts through media, schools, health professionals, farmers, and the dairy industry.
