News from Russell Co., KY: Wet-dry ruling issue du jour

Jamestown scribe is happy with outcome. Community remains dry, for now.

By John E. Moss, correspondent

My side is happy. For the moment, the talk of Manners' Diner on Monument Square in Jamestown, KY, is the decision of special Judge Julie Adams ruling that a special Wet-Dry election held in Russell Co., KY, was contrary to state laws and ruled the election "Null and Void."

The story on the event was carried on Laker County 104.9, WJRS, Judge Rules Wet-Dry Election Illegal: Results Voided

The Russell Register carries a longer story by John Thompson, Judge voids "Moist" election results

I expect it will occupy the Great Minds at Manners Diners for quite some time.
