Poetry by Billy Joe Fudge: Waves of Life

Waves of Life
Poetry by Billy Joe Fudge
Trees,
Dressing in Spring Greens
So fresh.
Afternoon Summer breezes
Soft with life.
Explosions of Autumn color
And sun
Glistening off Winter snows
Elicit emotions undulating as waves
Crashing frothy on whited sands.

Waves of life
Empowered by
Sight,
Sound,
Smell,
Touch and taste;
After standing tall against
Off shore winds,
Ripping,
Tearing and resistant,
Spill creation upon the canvas
Beaches of our hearts.

Seasons,
Events,
Oceans
Full of life,
Stoop and bend low,
Washing,
Replenishing.
And then,
Turbid with the mundane
Return to the depths
Leaving us filled
With life,
Reborn,
Sentient.
- Billy Joe Fudge, January 25, 2016
