Columbia Police are looking for a missing juvenile

Columbia Police Department is conducting an investigation involving a missing juvenile. Chelsea Reynolds, age 17 was last seen at her residence on Hindman Street in the limits of Columbia on Sunday evening August 31, 2014 around 7:15pmCT. Neighbors reported seeing the female get into a gold pickup truck possibly being a Chevrolet or Toyota occupied by a white male. As of this time the case is being treated as a runaway.

Chelsea is described as:
Female
White
Fair Skin
Long Brown Hair ( usually has it pulled up)
Blue Eyes
Approximately 120 lbs
Chelsea was last seen wearing white pajama pants with gray and pink designs and white tee shirt.

Anyone who may know about Chelsea's whereabouts is encouraged to call Columbia Police Department at 270-384-6466 or any law enforcement agency.

Montano named MSC Volleyball Player of the Week

COLUMBIA, KY - Lindsey Wilson freshman setter Makenzie Montano was named the Mid-South Conference Volleyball Player of the Week, the conference office released on Tuesday, September 2, 2014. The Louisville, Kentucky, native totaled 124 assists for an average of 9.7 assists per set. Montano also totaled 19 kills in five matches, including a season high five kills against Indiana Southeast on Aug. 27. The 10th-ranked Blue Raiders accumulated a 4-1 record during the week. Montano set a career-high in assists with 40 in a 3-1 win over Point Park (Pa.) on Friday Aug. 29 at the Saint Xavier (IL)/Trinity Christian (IL) Crossover Tournament. Montano is currently ranked No. 27 in Division I with 272 total assists. This is the first MSC award of the week for the 2014 volleyball season.

COLUMBIA, KY - Lindsey Wilson men's soccer goalkeeper Dalyan Hawes earned Mid-South Conference Defensive Player of the Week honors, the conference office announced on Tuesday, September 2, 2014. This is the first MSC Player of the Week honors for the 2014 season. Hawes, making his first career start in goal, made a pair of saves as Lindsey Wilson claimed a 2-0 victory against No. 8 Baker (KS) in the NAIA Men's Soccer Game of the Week on August 30, 2014. The match marked the opener of the McDonalds Classic over Labor Day weekend held at Walter S. Reuling Stadium. It is the first player of the week honor for the sophomore from Johannesburg, South Africa.

COLUMBIA, Ky. - Gwendoline Fai and Johanna Henriksson are the Mid-South Conference Players of the Week, conference officials announced, today, Tuesday, Seoptember 2, 2014,The conference award is the first of Fai's career and second for Henriksson. Fai, a freshman from St. Gingolph, Switzerland, scored a goal in Lindsey Wilson's season-opening 4-1 victory over Auburn Montgomery (AL) on August 25. She would go on to score the lone goal in the Blue Raiders' 1-0 win at No. 14 Spring Arbor (MI) on Saturday. Her two goals are the second most in the Mid-South Conference through two weeks of action.

Henriksson did not allow a goal in her 169 minutes of action between the pipes last week en route to claiming MSC Defensive Player of the Week honors. The Boras, Sweden, native previously earned the distinction last season during the week of November 4. Henriksson is tied for the lead in the Mid-South in both shutouts (1) and goals against average (0.00). The next MSC Player of the Week honors are scheduled to be released on Monday, September 8, 2014.

Here's the line up for the first ever Farmer's Market on the Square on Tuesday evenings from now until October 25, 2014. She was a 'mother' rather than a grandmother to all of her grandchildren and great grandchildren, and a member of a highly respected Adair County family. Green County man arrested following pursuit

CAMPBELLSVILLE, KY - 51-year-old Carlton Lee Underwood was arrested on Friday, August 29, 2014 at 7:48pmET following a pursuit that occurred 14 miles west of Campbellsville on KY 210. Kentucky State Police Lt. Jamie Heller observed Underwood traveling at a high rate of speed on a motorcycle and established the speed at 96 miles per hour. Lt. Heller attempted to stop the motorcycle when Underwood fled.

A Russell County woman was arrested yesterday, Monday, September 7, 2014, after allegedly trying to run over her husband. Russell County Sheriff Lee Smith said 44-year-old Tammy Pierce is charged with Wanton Endangerment 1st after alleged attempt to run over her husband, Tim Pierce on the side of US 127 north of the Russell Springs Elementary School.
