Green County man arrested following pursuit Police allege cyclist's speed 96mph on KY 210. Pursuit ended on KY 569 when cyclist left roadway in attempt to turn around but was blocked by KSP Lt. Gregory, Public Information Officer KY State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY CAMPBELLSVILLE, KY - 51-year-old Carlton Lee Underwood was arrested on Friday, August 29, 2014 at 7:48pmET following a pursuit that occurred 14 miles west of Campbellsville on KY 210. Kentucky State Police Lt. Jamie Heller observed Underwood traveling at a high rate of speed on a motorcycle and established the speed at 96 miles per hour. Lt. Heller attempted to stop the motorcycle when Underwood fled. The pursuit ended on KY 569 when Underwood left the roadway in an attempt to turn around and Lt. Heller blocked his path. Underwood was taken into custody, following a brief struggle, and lodged in the Taylor County Detention Center. He was charged with Speeding, Reckless Driving, Attempting to Elude, Operating on a Suspended Operator's License, DUI 4th Degree Aggravated, Wanton Endangerment 1st, Improper Registration, No Insurance, No Motorcycle Operator's License, No Signal, Resisting Arrest, Unauthorized Use of Motor Vehicle, Improper Passing, No Helmet, Operating on Wrong Side of Roadway and No Registration.
