Hawes Named MSC Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week

COLUMBIA, KY - Lindsey Wilson men's soccer goalkeeper Dalyan Hawes earned Mid-South Conference Defensive Player of the Week honors, the conference office announced on Tuesday, September 2, 2014. This is the first MSC Player of the Week honors for the 2014 season. Hawes, making his first career start in goal, made a pair of saves as Lindsey Wilson claimed a 2-0 victory against No. 8 Baker (KS) in the NAIA Men's Soccer Game of the Week on August 30, 2014. The match marked the opener of the McDonalds Classic over Labor Day weekend held at Walter S. Reuling Stadium. It is the first player of the week honor for the sophomore from Johannesburg, South Africa.
