Earl Wayne Gearlds age 68 of Edmonton, KY, died Sunday, August 31, 2014 at T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, KY.

Cremation was chosen and a private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Born in Cumberland County he was the son of the late Ervin Gearlds and Aubie Muse Gearlds of Edmonton, KY, who survives.

Besides his mother he is survived by the following:
  • His exwife and long time friend: Sharron Murray of Glasgow, KY

  • Four daughters: Pamela Geralds and Carla Jackson both of Glasgow, KY; Brenda Geralds of Edmonton, KY; and Amber Geralds of Clemmons, North Carolina

  • Two brothers: Norman Gearlds of Louisville, KY; and Ricky Gearlds of Edmonton, KY

  • Two sisters: Shirley Compton and Sharon Gibson of Edmonton, KY

  • Two loving nephews: Larry and Tony Tinsley

  • Twelve grandchildren

  • and ten great grandchildren.
Besides his father he was preceded in death by four brothers. Ray, Barry, Ervin and Donnie Gearlds.
