Great grandmother confesses to duck smuggling plot

About: Duck crisis ad stirs curiosity in Middle Tennessee

To ColumbiaMagazine.com:

Yes, you are right about the great-grandmother thing. My great-grandchildren in Pulaski County have a good size pond in front of their house.

The pond is stocked with fish, but I thought some ducks would be nice. Their parents do not know about this yet.

Since I am going there on Friday I would need the ducks by then. Hope this answers all questions.

Half inch borders on paper would save paper

About: Here's a legal way to print money: change the font

Ed,

I read the article on changing fonts to save ink. The article said changing fonts would not probably save paper.

Has anyone ever wondered why there is a one inch border on typed papers as a default? That was the standard when I was in high school MANY years ago.

I see many documents and written agendas, minutes of meetings etc. done with one inch borders with maybe two lines on a second sheet. Some organizations do print on the back of papers.

I think saving paper use could improve with half inch borders.
