Knifley, KY driver airlifted from scene of collision By Tpr. Wm. Gregory, Public Affairs Officer Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY COLUMBIA, KY - Tpr. Tracy Haynes is investigating a collision that occurred Wednesday morning, April 7, 2010, at 10:58amCT, 14 miles East of Columbia on Elkhorn Road. Richard Marrapodi, age 54 of Knifley, KY, was traveling West on Elkhorn Road in a 1995 Chevy S10 when he left the roadway, struck a concrete culvert and a utility pole. Marrado was wearing a seat belt. He was airlifted from the scene to the University of Louisville Hospital. Tpr. Haynes was assisted at the scene by Tpr. John Boyd, Taylor County Air EVAC, Knifley Fire Department, and Adair County EMS.
