Four fatalities in March more than doubles Post 15 area 2010 total Kentucky State Police Post 15 March 2010 activity report By TFC Billy Gregory, Public Affairs Officer Kentucky State Police, Post 15, Columbia, KY COLUMBIA, KY - During the month of March, 2010, there were 23 traffic accidents investigated by the State Police working in the Post 15 area in the 11 counties of Adair, Casey, Clinton, Cumberland, Green, Marion, Metcalfe, Monroe, Russell, Taylor and Washington. There were four fatalities during the month of March:
State wide fatality count stands at 153 compared with 175 through this same period in 2009. During the month of March, 2010, there were 1597 citations written, 386 courtesy notices written, 1856 vehicles inspected, 803 complaints answered, 70 motorists assisted, 81 criminal cases opened and 266 criminal arrests made.
