Pleasant View Baptist Church in McGaha

About: Pleasant View Baptist Church

By E.H. Lepiarczyk

The location of the Pleasant View Baptist Church building is in the McGaha community of Adair County, Kentucky. And yes, McGaha is located between Christine and Craycraft. I have seen historical records which identify the address of Pleasant View Baptist Church at McGaha, Kentucky!

Perhaps the McGaha community no longer has the pride it once did when members of my Chrisley Burton family resided there during the 19th and 20th centuries! Many people no longer know where the McGaha community is! I know where McGaha is because my grandmother, the late Effie Burton Grider, was born and grew up in the McGaha community. From my earliest memories, my grandmother always expressed pride in her McGaha, Adair County, Kentucky heritage!
