Adair County High School football wins at home! By Cathy Moss Adair County High School Football defeated Barren County High School of Glasgow, KY, by a score of 28-21 on Friday, October 17, 2008. The win for the Indians came on Homecoming night. The Trojan's, coming into the game with a record of 2-5, rallied late in the fourth quarter, but were stopped by an interception from Senior Brad Moore. The interception gave the ball back the Adair County with 16 seconds left in the game, giving the Indians their first win at home for the season. FRITZ MURDER CASE: Victim was father of boy There is an update to the story of the 17 year old Metcalfe boy reported ths morning: The 17 year old juvenile has been identified as the victim's son. There is no clear indication as to the motive at this time. A blunt instrument, believed to be the weapon, was recovered by investigators. The incident occured at 240 Neeper Road, 3 miles south of Edmonton, KY in MetcalfeCounty. All 3 persons, the victim, accused and Jeannie K. Stewart were living at the residence. Jeannie K. Stewart was staying at the residence as a result of losing her home to a recent fire.
