PRIDE Fall Clean-up starts: 8:00amCT, Sat. Oct. 18, 2008 Day will offer opportunity to earn money, get t-shirts, have chances at hundreds of dollars in prizes, start the day with a free breakfast participate in a huge picnic at Pinewood Country Club after the work. And do a lot of good along the way! Organizers hope the turnout will be over 200 people! Complete list of prizes, schedule, below By Linda Waggener Saturday morning, October 18, at 8:00amCT, Adair Countians will gather at the Adair Annex basement for the kick-off of the joint Adair County-City of Columbia Fall PRIDE clean-up.County Judge Ann Melton has built this day into one of the biggest celebrations of the year. Not only will the county get a hard-hitting clean-up with over 200 volunteers expected, but volunteers will get a breakfast, free t-shirts, which will be capped by a big Adair County Picnic at Pinewood Country Club, with another free meal, awards, and hundreds of dollars of cash, merchandise, and gift certificate prizes. The list of prizes is impressive. A total of 73 businesses, organizations, officials and individuals have donated a array of prizes, listed below:
