ADVERTISEMENT McConnell to Visit/Speak in Columbia 1:00 p.m. next Monday, October 20th Outside Adair Courthouse Annex COLUMBIA, KY U.S. Senator Mitch McConnell will visit Adair County as Part of his Motorcade Through South Central Kentucky. McConnell's visit follows startling mock election results conducted on Friday, October 10, and Saturday, October 11 at Frontier Days in Columbia. In this poll, 876 voters predicted who would carry Adair County in the upcoming November 4, 2008 election for U.S. Senator. Ninety three (93%) percent (788) of those voting predicted Mitch McConnell, Kentucky's longest serving U.S. Senator and Republican leader in the U.S. Senate would carry Aair County by a tremendous margin!
