Query: Joyce Groce asks about Marcums of Sulphur Well, KY

Joyce Groce writes:
My grandfather was John Ira Marcum; great-grandfather William Marcum. In the Sam Marcum Family photo collection, you would not by chance have photos of John and/or William, would you? I've heard of Sam and Earl all my life, but never had the privilege of meeting them. And I have got a photo of the Marcum Mill. My father was old when I was born, so most of his kin were much older and many of them had passed on before my time. Your help is most appreciated. Thanks, Joyce Marcum Groce

They have been through more than we can fathom, yet God makes beautiful things from ashes." (That note was documented about the P-H fundraiser work at the $33,000 mark. At this posting, July 30, 2018, the Paz-Holley fundraiser is moving past $73,000 on its way to $108,000 to purchase the house for the family).
