He was the son of the late Preston Albert Gilbert & Betty Lou Corbin Gilbert, who survives. A joint funeral service for Robert Gilbert and his nephew Preston Allen Gilbert, will be held Saturday, August 4, 2018 at 10amCT, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Ralph Foster, pastor of Bloomington Chapel Church, officiating. Interment in the Fudge Cemetery, Breeding, KY. The family will receive friends 6pm-8pmCT, Friday, August 3, 2018, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home. He was the son of the late Preston Albert and Betty Lou Corbin Gilbert, who survives. He died Sunday, July 29, 2018, in Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio, at the age of 48 years, eight months, and two days. He was preceded in death by his father, Preston Albert Gilbert; and one sister Betty Ann Gilbert He is survived by his mother Betty Lou Corbin Gilbert of Glens Fork, KY, and the following:
