Fire Causes Temporary Closure of Lodge and Restaurant at Greenbo Lake By Gil Lawson Greenup, KY. - The lodge and restaurant at Greenbo Lake State Resort Park will likely be closed through the remainder of 2015 for repairs in the wake of a fire on Sunday morning. The park's campground and marina will remain open. There were no injuries during the fire, which apparently began in the basement of the lodge. The defendant entered a plea of not guilty. A hearing is scheduled for 10amCT, October 14, 2015. He is to be appointed a public defender. TJ Regional proposes acquisition of Westlake Regional Hospital By Bud Wethington, President and Chief Executive Officer TJ Regional Health On October 5, 2015, officials from T.J. Regional Health announced that T.J. Regional Health of Glasgow, Kentucky is making a proposal to acquire and operate Westlake Regional Hospital and its clinics, the healthcare facility that is owned and operated by Adair County Public Hospital Corporation and Adair County Hospital District and located in Columbia, Kentucky. The Corporation and the Hospital District are in Chapter 9 bankruptcy proceedings in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Kentucky. The proposed acquisition is contingent upon multiple factors, including reaching certain agreements with creditors, confirmation of a Chapter 9 bankruptcy plan by the Bankruptcy Court and receipt of approvals from state and federal healthcare regulators.
