Nathaniel Taylor, 87, Russell Co., KY (1928-2015)

He was a native of Jamestown, KY, and a resident of the county at the time of his death. He was the son of the late Christine (Simpson) and Elmer Taylor. He leaves four direct living descendants. He served in the U.S. Army and will be accorded full military honors at comital services.

Nathaniel Taylor, 87, of Jamestown, KY passed away on Friday, October 2, 2015, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY.

Funeral Services for Nathaniel Taylor will be Thursday, October 8, 2015, at 1pmCT, at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 N Main Street, Jamestown, KY, with Rev. A. R. Taylor, Jr officiating. Friends may visit 5pmCT to 7pmCT on Wednesday, October 7, 2015, at the funeral home. Burial with Military Honors will be at Greens Chapel Cemetery in Jamestown, KY.

Nathaniel Taylor was born in Jamestown, KY on May 5, 1928, a son of the late Christine (Simpson) and Elmer Taylor. He died Friday, October 2, 2015, in Bowling Green, Warren County, KY, at the age of 87 years, four months, and 27 days.

He served in the U.S. Army.

He is survived by the following:
  • Two sons: Michael and Anthony Taylor of Bowling Green, KY

  • One sister: Sarah Taylor, of Jamestown, KY

  • One grandchild

  • Two great grandsons
He was preceded in death by one sister Lillian Taylor.
