Local stores will have class lists, too

More on class list, supply lists. Stores which want to post lists should request them from the principals of each school, Mr. Harmon writes in response to a request for clarification from CM.

Robbie Harmon write:
The principals at ACPC, ACES, and ACMS said our local Walmart, both Dollar General Stores and Family Dollar Store would have class lists.

The supply lists will also be posted at the schools in case someone would prefer to purchase their supplies elsewhere.

If there are any other stores that would like the lists to post in their business they could contact the school principal and we will provide the lists to them as well. Thanks. - Robbie Harmon

Reader is researching descendant of Margaret Calhoun Hardin

She was the sister of Parker Calhoun

Joe Goodbody writes:
Perhaps someone can help or guide me in the right direction. Maybe Mike Watson could help. I am trying to research some of the descendants of Margaret Calhoun Hardin who was the sister of Parker Calhoun Hardin. She married Hiram French. I believe they both died in the early 1840's and left their children in the care of Parker C Hardin. I have already accessed the various biographical sketches of Parker Hardin available on the internet. Are their other local sources of information? Regards and Thanks --Joe Goodbody

Click on headline for complete story

By Barbara Armitage

I've always thought that you can tell a lot about a person by looking at their hands. How old they are, how hard they work for a living and in my case you can tell it's berry picking time at Tucker's Station Farms.

First my fingers were stained red and I felt like I was announcing to the world that it was strawberry picking time.

Stanziano Murder: Accused's competency for trial may be issue

New bizarre twists to case appearing in media stories
Next earlier article on CM on tragedy: Mark Joseph Stanziano, Somerset, KY (1957-2014). Obituary written by April Shepperd, and who wrote, 'Stanziano, was known as a fierce defender who wasn't afraid to take on high-profile, high-publicity cases.' of the brilliant trial lawyer who had, in Shepperd's words, ' . . . served the public for over 30 years.'

Larry Smith is reporting on the Big Dawg, 99.9 FM, that Clinton Inabnitt, accused in the shooting death of attorney Mark Stanziano, will be charged with murder, but that Commonwealth's Attorney says Inabnitt's competency to stand trial may complicate the case. Stanziano had an office in Downtown Columbia, KY, at the time of his death, in addition to his principal office in Somerset, KY.
