C-ville Police investigating burglary at Pruyear's Antiques The owner reported that four large signs, two large thermometer signs and several antique jugs were taken. Campbellsville Police request anyone with information about this crime to contact them at 270-465-4122 By Anne Sanders News from the Campbellsville Police Dept. The Campbellsville Police Department today, March 18, 2014, discovered a broken window at Pruyear's Antiques on South Central. Officer Bart Gilpin was on patrol in the South Central vicinity of Campbellsville this morning. During his patrol, Officer Gilpin observed the store front window of the building occupied by Puryear's Antique Store was broken. Officer Gilpin investigated further and discovered a burglary had occurred. The investigation suggests the window had been broken by a large rock thrown through the window. (The first two articles, as published in the paper, weren't headlined.) - JIM By JIM Feese & McLean awarded courthouse contract Mr. H.C. Feese and Mr. Fred McLean have been awarded the contract to repaint the court-house, two coats, beginning at the basket, on to the cupalo (sic), and coming to the ground story. This includes all the metal and woodwork. The contractors will probably begin the work this week. The committee appointed to let the contract, will also have all inside work revarnished and repainted. The Committee also expects to have glass put on the dials of the clock and an electric light placed in the dome, in order to see the time after night.
