Mrs. Rosalie Franklin Faulkner, Taylor Co., KY (1958-2014)

She was a member of a respected Taylor County family with strong ties also in Adair County and elsewhere. She was the daughter of the late late Lawrence B. and Helen Marie (Sexe) Franklin. Her husband, Wallace Faulkner, survives. She leaves 8 direct living descendants. She was known for her sense of humor and always looked for the "silver lining" in life. Mrs. Faulkner had professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Bible Baptist Tabernacle in Campbellsville, KY

Mrs. Rosalie Franklin Faulkner of Campbellsville, KY. passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2014 at her home. She was 55 years old.

The funeral service for Mrs. Rosalie Faulkner will be held at the Bible Baptist Tabernacle, 50 Bambi Drive, Campbellsville, KY 42718, on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at 1pmCT/2pmET with interment to follow in the Green River Memorial Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the church on Saturday, March 22, from 9amCT/10amET until time for the service. Bro. Bob Cutler will be officiating.



Pallbearers are Joshua Epperson, Jacob Roby, Jay Chappel, Simon Kirkland, Larry Franklin, Sr., and Larry Franklin, Jr.

Mrs. Faulkner was the daughter of the late Lawrence B. and Helen Marie (Sexe) Franklin. She was born Thursday, November 13, 1958. She died Sunday, March 16, 2014, in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 55 years, 4 months, and 3 days.

She was known for her sense of humor and always looked for the "silver lining" in life. Mrs. Faulkner had professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Bible Baptist Tabernacle in Campbellsville.

Mrs. Faulkner is survived by:
  • Her husband: Wallace Faulkner of Campbellsville, KY

  • Two children: Angela Denham and husband Scott of Columbia, and Josh Kirkland and wife Michelle of Campbellsville, KY

  • One brother and three sisters: Larry Franklin, Diane Franklin, Janet Franklin, and Stacy Hulsey, all of Louisville, KY

  • Special friends: Charles and Shirley Bliss of Louisville, and George and Flora Ober of Campbellsville, KY

  • Six grandchildren: Joshua Epperson, Ceanna McKinney, Madison Kirkland, Jacob Roby, Ashlee Kirkland, and Amory Denham

  • And a host of other relatives and friends.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Johnnie Franklin, and two grandchildren, Adrian and Lucas Denham.
