Natalie Raymer establishes milestone at WKU-Glasgow Edmonson County Native First WKU-Glasgow student to present for WKU Sisterhood Grant Click on headline for story with photo(s) By John Roberts, Coordinator, Communications and Student Recruitment Western Kentucky University, 500 Hilltopper Way, Glasgow, KY GLASGOW, KY - October 18, 2013 - In the four years that the WKU Sisterhood has awarded grant funds to various organizations and causes throughout the WKU community, no one from a WKU regional campus ever applied. That streak ended last Tuesday when WKU-Glasgow student, Natalie Raymer, submitted a proposal. Although Raymer's proposal did not win a grant award, it was selected as one of six finalists out of over thirty proposals. In addition, Raymer, who made a formal presentation to the Sisterhood at a luncheon on Tuesday at the WKU Augenstein Alumni Center, was the first WKU student to ever do so. Wansoo Cho and Hana Park are classically trained musicians from South Korea. Currently they are serving at Lindsey Wilson College through their musical talents. Since 2005 they've been staying in Kentucky and absorbed some "fiddling spirit." It will be very interesting to see Classically trained Asian musicians playing American Fiddle Tunes. Come and enjoy the Music! KSP investigating armed robbery of woman in Lebanon, KY Woman pulls into garage, masked man demands money, she complies, and suspect flees with undisclosed amount of money By TFC Wm. Gregory, Public Affairs Officer Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY Lebanon, KY.) - Trooper Kevin Roberts is investigating an armed Robbery that occurred on Monday, October 14, KY, just before 10amET. April Letsey of 340 Casey Avenue in Lebanon, reported that just after pulling into her garage a black male wearing a mask came into the garage with a handgun and demanded money. Letsey complied with the demand, giving the suspect an undisclosed amount of money, and he fled on foot from the residence. Troopers and a KSP K-9, along with local law enforcement, searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect. Conservatively, there should be from 2,500 to 3,500 visitors at the stadium during the course of the day.
