Sad word of the passing of Thurman Jean Loy, 81

We have received the sad word of the death a very special friend of so many, Mr. Thurman Jean Loy, who passed away today at the home of his son in Columbia, KY. He was a friendly, intelligent and very witty man who had retired at the age of 80 years, after careers at IMO and later, at Adair Automotive. He would have been 82 on September 14, 2013. He will be sadly missed by the many friends he made, especially by downtown people warmed by his daily visits with his dear wife, until a few short weeks ago, when he became homebound and could no longer do so. A complete obituary will be posted later.
