Campbellsville Police Department gets praise for graffiti arrest

Praises store clerk who refused to sell spray paint.

Ron Green writes:
Way to go Campbellsville Police Department! This graffiti thing has to be dealt with swiftly or it spreads like wildfire. The suspect needs some serious community service time, beginning with painting over his own work, at his cost, and then on to the parks and playgrounds for whatever is needed.

Years ago in Chicago, Walgreens was being tagged constantly. They stopped selling spray paint and the problem disappeared. Make it tough to buy and it will be a discouragement. Applause to whoever refused to sell this guy without an ID; .you did your job! Unfortunately the next place he went to did not! --ron green
