Minnie Elizabeth Gibson, 93, Metcalfe Co., KY (d. Sept. 18, 2012) She was the matriarch of a large, respected family. She was a homemaker and member of the Society Hill Baptist Church Minnie Elizabeth Gibson age 93 of Edmonton died Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, KY. Funeral services will be held 1pmCT, Saturday, September 22, 2012, at Society Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be 2pm-8pmCT until Friday, September 21, 2012, and after 9amCT, Saturday at Butler Funeral Home. 201 East Street, Edmonton, KY. She was the daughter of the late Chester Asbury and Ellie Fields Hurt. She was a homemaker and member of the Society Hill Baptist Church. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Goble Gibson and two children. James Chandler Gibson and Runell Shirley.
