Special CM Sports Story

The Indians recorded their 18th win of the season with a 158 to 168 victory over the visiting Metcalfe County Hornets, on Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at The Pines at Lindsey Wilson.

Alex Durham, once again, led the Indians with a terrific 1-Under Par round of 35. Riley Grant's 37, Daniel Rarey's 41, Trey Garmon's 45, and Korey Hundley's 47 rounded out the scoring for the Indians.

The Jr. Varsity Indians remained unbeaten on the year with a 177 to 236 win against the Hornets. Austin Cundiff led the way with a good round of 40. Tanner Garmon 42, Blake Maupin 45, Jacob Keltner 50, Joseph Farmer's 51, Jameson Miller's 55, Zach Pyles's 58, Bryce Farris's 61, and Tanner Janes's 70 rounded out the scoring for the Indians.

Coach's Comments - Alex is really coming into his own right now. You would be hard pressed to fine a better golfer in this area. We did not play our best as a team but, it is always great to pick up a win against a quality team such as Metcalfe County. Austin Cundiff and Tanner Garmon both played really good rounds for our JV. We have some quality young golfers right now, the future looks bright for the Adair County Golf Program. - Steve Burton
