Agrees with Doug McCammish ask prayers for firefighters

Maury E Lewis writes:
I agree and we should pray daily for our firemen and firewomen; the city, the county and state police; and our search and rescue, and anyone who puts themselves in harms way all hours of the day and night.

A great scripture to speak over them is Psalms 91. The ones who believe the Word of God is true need to speak this scripture over themselves daily and while they are headed to the fire, the rescue, the drug bust, the wreck. - Maury E Lewis

Thanks to Fire Departments from one who remembers Hotel Fire

Leshia Fair writes:
I also commend the work of all the fire departments that assisted with the extinguishing of the building-fire on the square. These buildings are very aged and it had to require a lot of effort on their part to save as much as they did. I remember how fast the hotel was consumed. I was dreading coming onto the square and seeing another pile of rubbish in our hometown structure. Our little town is going through structure changes and I engage this with mixed feelings (sadness & excitement). But it is different when it is tragedy and not planned. Thanks again for doing the wonderful jobs that you do. We tend to take it for granted until we need them. And I hope that I never do, but it is good to know that you are there in case I or my family do. - Leshia Fair
