Likes inclusion of search in Today with Google/CM

Jon Halsey writes:
Great addition. Chased several topics and it appears to be amazingly complete. Turned up many entries that the original CM Search button didn't find.

Will there eventually be a button or do y'all plan to replace the original search?

- Jon HalseyKnifley
Thanks, Jon Halsey For the next few months, we'll likely keep both the internal CM Search, which works best in many situations, as well as the Google Search. We're always looking for ways to make Clicks find information Quick, primarily for folks like you, a Knifley, where there's plenty enough more enjoyable things to do than click around on the internet two dozen times to find a bit of information which should be a Click Away. -EW

Kathryn Miller: Still thanking God for little miracle

Kathryn Jarrett Miller writes:Our little girl, Ruby Anne Miller, will be 4 years old on February 9, 2012. She was the little baby born prematurely at Westlake Hospital in 2008. Ruby was only 1 pound 6 ounces and 10 inches long. Her chances of survival were not good. She spent over three months at Kosair and thanks to many prayers, came home on May 15, 2008. She is now a healthy little girl and you would never know she was a preemie. So on February 9, and every day, we thank God for our little miracle. --Kathryn Jarrett Miller

"This is long but it seems an appropriate story to put up today, Thursday which would have been Chuck's 90th birthday. It mentions the death of his daughter, a suicide which is in several of his stories which I have not sent you. If you think it has to be shortened, let me know. Robert Stone
Chuck Hinman was born January 19, 1922. On Monday August 7, 2006 he sent out one of those emails where one answers questions, 46 in this case.

Welcome to Columbia/Adair Co., KY - Home of Count Cardinal

Welcome to ColumbiaMagazine.com
Count Cardinal, the wonderful bird which symbolizes the annual Great Backyard Bird Count, (this year February 17-20, 2012) was photographed by Barbara Armitage at the Farm at Tucker's Station. The beautiful bird has been a frequent and amusing breakfast guest, pecking on the window as Barbara and Wayne had breakfast, as though it were the humans being. Maybe, maybe not, but we like to think it was that way. Humans and animals seem to have the same ability to connect with each other here, a reflection of the way people also treat people here. Count Cardinal file photo from CM archives, first posted over two years ago on January 12, 2010. Photo by Barbara Armitage.
