Haskel Ewing Froedge, 80, Edmonton, KY (d. Jan. 18, 2012)

He was member of a highly regarded Metcalfe County, KY family, an Army veteran and a former security guard at Sumitomo Electric Wiring

Haskel Ewing Froedge age 80 of Edmonton died Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at T.J. Samson Community Hospital, in Glasgow, KY.

Funeral services will be held 2pmCT, Sunday, January 22, 2012, at Butler Funeral Home, 201 East Street, Edmonton, KY, with burial in the Missionary Mound Cemetery. Visitation will be 4pmCT-80mCT, from Saturday, January 21, 2012, and after 9amCT, Sunday at the funeral home.



He was a Army veteran and son of the late Paul and Tina Ball Froedge. He was a former security guard at Sumitomo Electric Wiring.

He is survived by his wife Bernia Sparks Froedge of Edmonton, KY, and the following:
  • One son: Barry Froedge and wife Pat of Edmonton, KY

  • One daughter: Sandy Froedge of Edmonton, KY

  • A stepson: Herb Sparks and wife Jan of Edmonton, KY

  • A grandson: Jeremy Froedge

  • Two step grandsons: Seth and James (Janine) Sparks

  • Two step granddaughters: Tabatha (Aaron) England and Brittany Brown

  • Three step great grandchildren: Miranda England, Chase England and Jonas Sparks

  • A sister in law: Leina Janes

  • and a special grand dog" "Boo"
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a son David Froedge.

Butler Funeral Home, 201 East Street, Edmonton, KY, in charge of arrangements.
