Beginner Gardener Program to start in January 2012 By Nick Roy The Adair County Cooperative Extension Service will be offering an educational program beginning in January 2012 for those who are new to gardening or who are looking to expand their knowledge of gardening. This program will emphasize the basic principles of gardening including site selection, soil preparation, pest management, when & what to plant, harvesting, and food preservation. A total of 5 sessions will be held, with each session to be held at the Adair County Extension Office and will begin at 6pmCT. Each session will last approximately 2 hours. Classes will be taught by Extension Agents and Master Gardener volunteers.

Campbellsville Police investigating criminal mischief at plant Two white male juveniles seen leaving the property are sought in connection with spray painting of racial slurs and hate messages on products, including cupola and church steeples, at Campbellsville Industries From Campbellsville Police Department The Campbellsville Police Department,, Sunday, December 18, 2011, responded to a Burglary and Criminal Mischief at Campbellsville Industries, 440 Taylor Blvd, Campbellsville, KY and during an investigation graffiti was discovered on many products including cupola and church steeples. Hate messages and racial slurs were also spray painted inside and outside of the building.At approximately 3:30pmET/2:30pmCT an employee saw two white male juveniles inside the fence on the property. The juveniles fled from the property. They were described as wearing a blue jacket and brown shirt. Anyone with information regarding this crime should call the Campbellsville Police Department at 270-465-4122.
