Joe David Polston, McKinney Lane, Jamestown, KY, died at 2:30amCT, Monday, December 19, 2011 at the Fair Oaks Nursing Home, Jamestown, KY.

The memorial service will be at 2pmCT, Wednesday, December 21, 2011, at the H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 N. Main Street, Jamestown, KY, with Bro. Paul Roy officiating. Interment will be in the Jamestown Cemetery, N. Main Street, Jamestown, KY.



Joe David Polston, Russell Co., KY (1939-2011)

He was born April 26, 1939, in Jamestown, Russell County, KY. He was the son of Mary McFarland Polston and the late Joe Franklin Polston. He died Monday, December 19, 2011, in Jamestown, Russell County, KY, at the age of 72 years, 8 months, and 23 days.

He was a construction engineer, and had served in the United States Army.He is survived by his wife, Sarah Lou Polston, Jamestown, KY, and the following:
  • His mother: Mary Polston, Jamestown, KY

  • One daughter: Sherry (Jimmy) Gossage, Russell Springs, KY

  • One son: David (Jamie) Polston, Campbellsville, KY

  • One granddaughter: Amy Gossage, Russell Springs, KY

  • One grandson: Todd Polston, Campbellsville, KY
Memorial donations are requested to the Taylor Regional Hospital Van Service.

H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 North Main Street, Jamestown, KY, in charge of arrangements.
