Melody Pollard: Always enjoyed the Circle R

Melody Pollard writes:
Hi Ed, I always enjoyed Circle R too because I worked there asa teenager. I agree we need more restaurants in ourtown. Hey, Mike I know your listening and love this towntoo. I think it would be a perfect spot for Cincinnati SkylineChili Restaurant or a Frisch's Bigboy Restaurant. Oh well,I can wish, but honestly I hope we could eventually grow enough for some nice places even a Cracker Barrel would be awesome. -Melody Pollard
Thanks, Melody Pollard. The restaurant scene is already more exciting. The national restaurants you mention are great, though a lot of us get more excited about the opening of a local one. With the big influx of college students and also with big events like the Mark Twain Band Exhibition, the future looks better for all of them. -EW

(Ad) ColumbiaMagazine's Goal: More information, far fewer clicks

Just a reminder of what we are about:

Our goal is to deliver information you need, quickly, immediately, or Just a click away.

That's because there is so much going on here, so much to do in this area, so much to watch if you must, we prefer to promote participation - performing to being a mere spectator. Don't get me wrong, when I'm old and need to live life vicariously, watching other people make their living, park me in front of a Tv. But for us youngsters, participation is far better. And that's what CM is all about, being a tool to participate.

That's why the first goal we're still working to achieve is having all the information one needs in one place - starting on the front page of CM. Thanks, everyone, for helping! And if you need help getting your item posted, just call me at 270-250-2730. -ED WAGGENER
