Funeral Service Monday, August 29, 2011 at 11amCT at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 North Main Street, in Burkesville, KY with burial in the Dutch Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be after 4pmCT, on Sunday, August 28, 2011 at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home.

John D. Melton was born on Wednesday, January 15, 1936. He was the son of the late Daniel and Florence Spears Melton. He passed away on Friday, August 26, 2011 in Burkesville, Cumberland Co., KY, at the age of 75 years, 7 months, and 11 days.

Survivors Include several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
