Mr. Hale was complimentary of the Adair County program. "It's the best in the state when you consider the directors who have come out of the program and the number of state championships Adair County itself has won," he said. Hale's daughter, Debbie, is now director of the Nicholas County High School Band at Carlisle, KY. "They had bad luck with their equipment this year," he said. "They had a four-wheeler which broke down and didn't get to perform. The rules are really strict on that," Hale said. 2008-11-03 10:18:40 | Comments | Printable version
