Adair County Marching Band, you were awesome!

Performance at State Finals greatest ever! Thanks to Mr. Allen for leadership, inspiration, instilling good, wholesome attitudes; Mr. Allen has given young people more than music

From Mr. and Mrs. Everett Wheeler

What a fantastic performance!

We were blessed to be able to attend and it was a joy! A beautiful warm day with the best bands in our State; a full day and evening--a day of the best entertainment ever.

As proud as we are of our band, we are equally as proud of Mr. Allen. He has given our young people more than music and did it ever show.

They showed such grace and respect for all the other bands in a heart touching moment.

Mr. Allen, thank you for being a special and dear person who gives so much to our children. You have enriched their lives in such a way that will help them the rest of their lives, instilling good, wholesome attitudes. For this I salute you.

As we were leaving Papa John's parking lot with our Adair sign on the van, one of the other band directors came over and told us what a great performance Adair had.

Another couple saw our sign and also congratulatied the band for an outstanding performance. We have attended many, many band competitions and, always, State plus BOA, and this was the best show and indeed the best performance we have ever seen.

Band, you are the cream of the crop. We will continue to support you with Eyes of Pride and prayers for your safety as you travel to New York City to march in the 2009 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
