Bam Carney meet and greet this evening in childhood community Republican 51st District Candidate John BAM Carney will be holding a meet and greet session at the former Knifley Grade Center in his childhood community. Carney will be at the Olde Town Cafe today, Monday, November 3, 2008, at 5:30pmCT. Carney has a large number of relatives who live in the Knifley area. He was born a short distance away on Wilson Creek Road in Taylor County, but attended Knifley Grade Center while living in the Feathersburg area of Adair County. The meet and greet takes place in the newly opened Olde Towne Cafe in the former Knifley School. A large number of Carney's relatives are expected to be on hand. "We want everyone to meet Bam's family and learn more about the community where he grew up; and see first hand the strong family ties and believes which we think will make Bam a state representative the residents of Taylor and Adair County can be proud of," Lisa Lee, a Carney supporter spoke.
