Smith Christmas Challenge exceeding all expectations Fund raisers for the Smith Christmas Challenge report that the results are exceeding everyone's expectations. Chad Parnell reported that Saturday's auction was a great success neting over $12,000 and adding that to funds already collected plus money brought in from Adair County churches over the weekend, the total is well over $30,000. LETTER: Judy Goodin thanks Mrs. Marcum for story on Ralph Roy I am Ralph M. Roy's daughter. I read the article that was printed in your magazine about my daddy (Remembering Toll Plaza Manager Ralph Roy). What Mrs. Marcum said about him sounded exactly right. He was a good Christian man. By the way, he probably did believe in equal rights to a certain extent. But, he always tried to be fair with everyone, both men and women.
