Letter: feels vendors have proven to be responsible

Donna Jones writes: This is the seventh year for the Farmers Market. The first four years the Market was in the Annex parking lot and each year the market had a key for use of the bathroom if the Annex was closed, without ever having an issue. The market outgrew that location and it was decided the market would move to the city parking lot, and once again we had a key to use each Saturday.

I think the vendors have shown we are responsible adults since we have no issues with having a bathroom key in the past. I ask the City to support the Farmers Market on the Square by giving them a key to the bathroom.

Market Coordinator,
Donna Jones

Letter: Burts support Farmers Market on the Square

Wendy Butler Burt writes:

It's a mystery to me how ANY city leader would not throw his/her full support behind the Farmers Market on the Square -- particularly when that support is about something as small as providing restroom keys to the Market's hard working vendors.

The Farmers Market on the Square is a HUGE asset to both the city and the county. It is long past time for ALL of our elected officials to recognize it as such.
