Adair Jaycees proud to hold 19th annual Easter egg hunt

By Cynthia Rowe, member, Adair County Jaycees

The Adair County Jaycees and Fair Association held the annual Easter egg hunt on April 13, 2019 at the fairgrounds park in Columbia.

We were delighted to welcome a bunch of happy children that came to hunt eggs.

After hunting eggs each child could pick out six gifts, a drink and a hotdog. They were also provided with a ticket toward more gifts that included Easter baskets, games, bicycles, helmets, scooters and large stuffed animals. We also had a visit from the Easter bunny!

The event was made possible by a group of Jaycees who enjoy creating children’s activities. We could not do this without the generous donations from our community and others. We are looking forward to egg hunt number 20 next year.

Adair County, we thank you for helping give the children a day to remember.

God bless you all. -- Cynthia
