Students at the Adair County Primary Center will be greeted by a much warmer entrance this coming fall, thanks to local artisan Cayce Davenport who graciously donated a one-of-a-kind piece. Cayce works in all mediums but over the past couple of years has included metal work to her creations. As you can see in the accompanying photo, her unique touch and creative genius comes out no matter the medium. A huge thank you Cayce for all your hard work on this project. Chris Knifley: On understanding a writer's intentions

Chris Knifley writes (to John Campbell via CM):
I guess I misunderstood the intention of your comments. I just thought that when you read the article about the accident, then clicked the comment tab associated with the article, and somehow, out of all the facts you chose to point out the local option election information, that you were making a point, a correlation, or giving an opinion. I thought you may have been making a stand for something you believe in or providing me with some new information. It turns out you were just stating a fact for the sake of stating a fact. I stand corrected? - Chris Knifley
