Bobby Ray Ferguson, Knifley, KY (1938-2014)

He attended Bearwallow United Methodist Church and was a logger. He was a native of Knifley and a resident at the time of his death. He was a a member of a large, highly regarded Adair County family. He was the son of the late Troy & Lura Perkins Ferguson. His wife, Nelda Knight Ferguson, preceded him in death just three months earlier. He leaves 19 direct living descendants.

Bobby Ray Ferguson age 75 years of Knifley, KY passed away Monday July 7, 2014 at 8:30amCT, at his home.

Funeral services will be Thursday, July 10, 2014 at 1pmCT, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home Clergy, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Troy Long the officiating clergy. Interment in Bearwallow Cemetery, 6080 Liberty Road, Columbia, KY. Visitation after will be after 4:30pmCT, Wednesday, July 9, 2014.

Bobby Ray Ferguson, Knifley, KY (1938-2014)

He was born on November 10, 1938 at Knifley, Adair County, KY. He was the son of the late Troy & Lura Perkins Ferguson. He died Monday, July 7, 2014, in Knifley, Adair County, KY, at the age of 75 years, seven months, and 27 days.

He was preceded in death by his wife Nelda Knight Ferguson on, April 7, 2014.

He is survived by the following:
  • One son: Barry Ferguson of Columbia, KY

  • One daughter: Angela (Troy) Andrew Glensfork, KY

  • Six grandchildren: Bradley Ferguson, Jennifer Godsey, Dustin Ferguson, Brianna Brock, Chelsey Andrew and Trenton Andrew

  • Eleven great grandchildren

  • A host of other relatives and friends
He attended Bearwallow United Methodist Church and was a logger.
