Chris Knifley: On understanding a writer's intentions Chris Knifley writes (to John Campbell via CM): I guess I misunderstood the intention of your comments. I just thought that when you read the article about the accident, then clicked the comment tab associated with the article, and somehow, out of all the facts you chose to point out the local option election information, that you were making a point, a correlation, or giving an opinion. I thought you may have been making a stand for something you believe in or providing me with some new information. It turns out you were just stating a fact for the sake of stating a fact. I stand corrected? - Chris KnifleyComments re article 68402 Letter John Campbell sends clarification This story was posted on 2014-07-08 11:08:14
