4-Wheeler accident on farm takes life of 43 year old

A four-wheeler accident on a farm on Merrimac Road, in Taylor County, took the life of 43 year old Stephen Green. Taylor County Coroner Terry Dabney said that Stephen Green lost control of his four-wheeler and died of injuries at 6:05amCT, Friday, June 6, 2014. Gov. Beshear Orders Flags to Half-staff June 7, 2014

In Honor of Korean War Casualty from Staffordsville, Johnson County, KY, whose remains have only recently been identified

FRANKFORT, KY - Governor Steve Beshear has directed that flags at all state office buildings be lowered to half-staff on Saturday, June 7, 2014, in honor of a Kentucky soldier who died during the Korean War and whose remains were recently identified.

The funeral and interment of Cpl. Army Cpl. Richard Isbell will be held at 11amCT/12pm noon ET, Saturday, June 7, KY, in Johnson County, KY, at Highlands Memorial Cemetery, 551 Kentucky Route 2275, Staffordsville, KY Kentucky. Gov. Beshear encourages individuals, businesses, organizations and government agencies to join in lowering flags in tribute on that day.

Frank Albert Kologinczak Jr. (April 29, 1941-June 3, 2014)

Frank was one with nature - he enjoyed the outdoors through hunting, fishing and was an avid golfer. In addition, he enjoyed wood working and loved music. His sanctuary was along the banks of the pond where he communicated with God. He was a great cook, loved good food, and enjoyed barbecuing for events. Frank met Lois, the love of his life, and they shared 21 years of marriage. He adored children, and his grandchildren were his greatest source of entertainment. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He has many Adair County, KY relatives. His wife, Lois, is a native of Adair County, KY, the daughter of Calvin & Mary Cooley. His step-son and step-daughter, Mitch McKinley, and Cynthia Skains, are members of Columbia's McKinley family. Frank Kologinczak, 73, of Bryan passed away on Tuesday, June 3 after a valiant battle with cancer. TCSO arrests Bowling Green, KY man on burglary charges

Items allegedly stolen include trailer from a residence on Social Bend Road and firearms from a residence on Mt. Carmel Road

The Taylor County Sheriff's Department received a call of a stolen trailer being pulled by a grey GMC SUV on Highway 55 in Campbellsville, KY on Friday, June 6, 2014. Following the call TCSO deputies, assisted by the Campbellsville Police Department, located and stopped the vehicle.

2014 Project Graduation when off without a hitch! Students had a blast playing games, winning money and prizes until 1amCT, Saturday, June 7, 2018. The event was held in the Adair County High School Gymnasium, immediately following 2014 graduation.

Overall, it was a outstanding graduation party. Our community never falls short on helping this great even and this year was no exception.

There was over $10,000 dollars with of cash and prizes donated along with tons of great food. Way to go Adair County for supporting a drug free zone for students. - Shamarie Claiborne
