TCSO arrests Bowling Green, KY man on burglary charges

Items allegedly stolen include trailer from a residence on Social Bend Road and firearms from a residence on Mt. Carmel Road

The Taylor County Sheriff's Department received a call of a stolen trailer being pulled by a grey GMC SUV on Highway 55 in Campbellsville, KY on Friday, June 6, 2014. Following the call TCSO deputies, assisted by the Campbellsville Police Department, located and stopped the vehicle.



Following an investigation by the TCSO officers, officers Timothy Russell, 29, of Wren Road, Bowling Green, KY, charging him with theft by unlawful taking under $500 and burglary, first. According to the TCSO Officers; investigation the trailer had been stolen from a residence on Social Band Road in Taylor County.

While investigating the theft of the trailer, officers located several firearms in the back of Russell's vehicle which had been allegedly taken from a burglary on Mt. Carmel Church Road.

Following his arrest, Timothy Russell was lodged in the Taylor County Detention Center, Campbellsville, KY.

Sheriff Allen Newton, TCSO Deputy Robert VanCleave, and Deputy Dickie were the investigating officers. (Information from Taylor County Sheriff's Office/Criminal News Release)
