Wet/Dry Petition: Writer says it's positive move for Adair Kathy Powell writes: What a positive move this would be for Adair. This is such a great county, but think of the growth with maybe a local Winery and local cheese, Micro Brewery, or local place to eat that could serve a nice wine with your steak. The money that is spent by Adair county residents NOW on such things could stay here in Adair and help our local economy. Tourist who now choose to spend time and money in surrounding counties will come to enjoy all that Adair County has to offer. -Kathy PowellComments re article 66724 WetDry Petition started in Adair County KY 2014-04-16 10:12:39 | Comments | Printable version | See topic Commentary

Shamarie Claiborne in San Antonio: An afternoon downtown The Riverwalk and More Click on headline for story with 12 photo(s). By Shamarie Claiborne One afternoon I spent taking shots of Downtown San Antonio. The scenery there is so different than ours but beautiful all the same. They have a river that runs through downtown and instead of trying to cover it up or divert it, San Antonio has embraced it. They have created the Riverwalk that is full of hustle and bustle, good food, music, and beauty all rich in tradition. There are historic buildings and churches everywhere. I will say they should be commended on restoring and holding on to their heritage. These are some of the shots I got around downtown San Antonio. Remember NOT better than here, just different. - Shamarie Claiborne 2014-04-16 05:42:20 | Comments | Printable version
