Wet/Dry Petition started in Adair County, KY

Paul Carter writes:

I would like to let the public know that there is wet/dry petition started in Adair County. They can be signed at several local businesses. - Paul Carter

Note - Adair County Court Clerk Joyce Rodgers said that she is expecting the petition in the office shortly. She said that the number of valid signatures needed will be slightly over 2,000, 25% of the number who voted in the 2012 General Election. Clerk Rodgers said that if the petition is successful, there will have to be a special election, and that the election cost will be borne by the county. More details will be posted as received. - EW
