Shillard (Jack) Dunbar, 82, Nancy, KY (1931-2013) A devoted father and husband, Mr. Dunbar also served our country in the U.S. Army and Indiana National Guard. Adam Stearman was actually flown to UL hospital, family reports By Ed Waggener Prominent Greensburg attorney Adam Stearman, 34, son of Columbia's Bonnie Davenport and step son of Bro. Bill Davenport, suffered very serious injuries in the two vehicle collision on KY 70 in Casey County last week, far greater than indicated in the brief CM item posted on Thursday, October 17, 2013, immediately following the accident. Rev. Davenport wrote us on Monday, October 21, 2013 that there is much more to the story. "Adam was not treated and released from the Taylor County Hospital," he writes. "Adam was flown by jet to Uof L Medical Center. He is still in very serious condition. "It will be a slow recovery with multiple surgeries," Bro. Davenport wrote, for the family, adding, "Many people assumed by this report that it was just a little fender bender. Thanks for giving correction to this report." Driver escapes overturned dump truck after brakes fail, harrowing ride At Barnetts Creek Road near Scott Hill Road, Adair County, KY - ACSO reports brakes apparently failed , operator unable to control vehicle, which overturns at least once.. Nineteen year old Set Ellis was able to climb out of the vehicle - refuses treatment. By Deputy Adam Cravens Adair County Sheriffs Department The Adair County Sheriff's Office responded to a dump truck rolling over at the intersection of Barnetts Creek Road and Scott Hill Road, Monday evening, October 21, 2013. The dump truck was being driven by Christian Seth Ellis, 19 of Dunnville, KY when it appears the brakes failed. Ellis attempted to maintain control as he drove downhill before losing it at the bottom of Scott Hill Road where the vehicle rolled down an embankment at least once and landed upright. Ellis was able to climb out of the vehicle and refused treatment.
