Click on headline for accompanying photo(s) By Jan Royse Band season triggered memories for my Mom of her days in band at Columbia High School. She remembered she had a photo of the Columbia High School Band and asked me to send it to you to share. She has a note on the back of the photo that it is the band from 1939-1940, but she says it is actually thru 1942. I have attached a copy of the back of the photo as well. Maybe your viewers can identify members. My Mom, Dimple Howell (Willis) is seated on the far right of the photo, first chair. My Dad, Edward "Edgie" Howell, is standing, back row, third from right side of the photo. Its obvious that Band has always been a very important part of our schools. We hope everyone enjoys this!
