Is there a prettier mailbox in the county?

2013-10-02 - College Park, Columbia, KY - Photo by Linda Waggener.
There was absolutely no disappointment
after finally seeing this mailbox so many had told us about, most recently Charles & Barbara Barnes and David Waggener, while out at supper Wednesday night. They are neighbors of Bill & Rosa Vittitoe, the owners of the residence with the mailbox with the pink mandevilla (ID courtesy Charles Marshburn). Mrs. Vittitoe said that got the plant after she had received a call from Columbia Landscaping, suggesting the plant; whe bought it, and the only disappointment she expects will be this winter. "I just wish it could stay like this year round," she said, a sentiment shared by all who have seen it. - EW
